What’s available through the initiative?
Up to 700,000 grants of up to $5,000 to help homeowners make energy efficient retrofits to their homes, such as better insulation
EnerGuide evaluations (worth up to $600) and expert advice to homeowners so they can begin to plan their retrofits
Recruitment and training of EnerGuide energy advisors to meet the increased demand; this will create new jobs across Canada.
Homeowners MUST obtain an EnerGuide Home Energy Assessment PRIOR to performing upgrades to qualify.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that to be eligible to participate in this program, the homeowner must register and book a “pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation”. This evaluation is required before you undertake your retrofits and must be performed by an NRCan registered energy advisor.

Ready Refrigeration will work with its customers to extrapolate the program guidelines to determine whether our products and/or services meet the eligibility criteria. However, it is ultimately, the customer’s responsibility to confirm eligibility to the program.
